We have one spot available for LAMI, the other two have been taken this past week.  If you will have 1st Class, be 13 (by Sept) and have either the swimming or lifesaving merit badge, we'd love to have you join us.

If you are interested in a position of leadership (SPL, ASPL, PL, or Troop Guide) then please read this carefully. Elections will be on March 20th. That following Saturday March 24th there will be a leadership training session somewhere of your choice. On April 14th there will be a PLC planning event that is required. It's up to the PLC to decide whether this is a campout or not. Please note: if you want to be a leader you need to lead the troop in a cheer or song before the elections. We are looking for enthusiasm more than anything else. If you aren't completely sure of the words than don't worry about it. If you are unsure of a good cheer or you want to practice then talk to Alan or Nathan S. and they'll help you out. The Longs Peak Council is having its Council Recognition this Saturday, 11:00 at the Candle Light Dinner Theatre and I need 5 scouts in complete uniform with a desire to do the best flag ceremony they've ever done. Complete uniform includes scout shirt, scout pants, neckerchief and slide. Contact Mr Rosing if you can help.

Klondike Derby is fast approaching. It will be held at the Gould Community Center on Hwy 14 west of Cameron Pass. We will leave from Linton at 4pm on Friday, February 3, and return Sunday, February 5.
